We are thrilled to have you and your furry friends join our family, where we prioritize love, care, and comfort for every pet that walks through our doors. To help us get to know you and your pet better, we invite you to fill out our New Client Information Form. This will ensure that we can provide tailored services that meet your pet’s unique needs and preferences. We can’t wait to create a wonderful experience for you and your beloved companions—let’s embark on this journey together!
At Log Cabin Kennel, the health and safety of your furry friends are our top priorities. To ensure a safe environment for all our guests, we require the following vaccinations before boarding:
- Rabies: 1 or 3-year vaccine
- Bordetella: 6-month or 1-year vaccine
- Distemper/Parvo: 1 or 3-year vaccine
- Canine Influenza vaccination is not required, but we highly recommend it to provide additional protection for your dog.

Our Philosophy:
We are thrilled that you’re here to learn about Log Cabin Kennel. We believe that every dog deserves love, care, and attention. We understand that your pets are more than just animals; they are family members. That’s why we’ve created an environment that caters to their physical, emotional, and social needs. Our dedicated team of professionals treats every dog with the respect and affection they deserve, ensuring a positive and nurturing experience.
Our history:
The property has a rich history, starting with a Log Cabin that was built in 1876. Initially, the cabin served as a crafts and ceramics gift store. Over the years, it became well-known in the area.
To meet the growing demand for our services, we decided to expand the kennel. In the mid-2000’s, we added a second building, increasing the run capacity to 36 runs. This expansion allowed us to accommodate more dogs and provide a comfortable environment for our furry guests.
In 2016, the kennel introduced a dog training program. This program offers training sessions to help dogs develop good behavior, obedience, and socialization skills. With the addition of this program, the kennel expanded its services to not only provide excellent boarding facilities but also to help dogs and their owners build a strong bond through training.
